Consistency and routine is important to our Members. This Program is designed with this in mind.

Anyone with an IDD or ASD, who has completed their high school career, can become a member of GEL Inc..

GEL Inc. Members wish to contribute and participate in the successful outcomes of their individual goals while being positive and productive community members.

We are able to work with Members while they are connecting with facilitators. If you are not involved with a PATH/MAPS facilitator, we can help you connect with one.

Fees are paid monthly via email transfer. Payment will be required 15 days before the beginning of each calendar month to hold a place. We are not government funded; therefore, fees can be paid by the individual Member and their family. Flex funding is able to be used for this program.

We are open 52 weeks a year.

We look to a grassroots style of learning – off the screen and into real-life and hands-on experiences to develop opportunities for functional learning and communication in all forms. This will be assessed with the consideration of each Member's needs, as well as the group's.

We strive to support Members who use alternative methods of communication in a variety of ways – the first being discussion with family to find out what they use presently. We use visual timetables and agendas, real object support to provide opportunities to engage and explain their thoughts, needs, and feelings.

We have transportation to community activities, and invite professional members of the community to visit on-site, as appropriate.

Please provide snacks and lunch. Sensitivities and allergies will be taken into account.

We ask that you send a spare set of seasonally-appropriate clothing. Each Member has a small storage space allocated to them.
